Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 16, 2026

1. Who we are and what this covers

Push Pull Studios LLC is a limited liability company formed in the State of Wyoming, trading as ReviveMyPhoto. We restore photographs.

This policy covers everyone who visits our website, places an order, sends us photographs, or writes to our support team. It does not cover other companies' websites you reach through a link from ours.

Our service is offered to residents of the United States. We do not target the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, but where those laws nonetheless apply to you, Section 18 sets out what changes.

If you only read one section, read Section 9. It is the one about your photographs.

2. What we collect

Identifiers and contact details — your name, email address, postal address and telephone number.

Order and transaction information — what you bought, which restoration tier and options you chose, the instructions you gave your restorer, and the history of your order.

Payment information — handled by our payment processor. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and the last four digits and brand of the card. We never receive or store your full card number.

Your photographs, and whatever they happen to depict.

Your communications with us — emails, support messages, revision requests and feedback.

Marketing preferences — whether you have opted in, and any opt-out you have exercised.

Device and connection information — IP address, browser and operating system, and the approximate region those imply.

Usage information — the pages you view, what you click, and how far you get through placing an order.

Cookies and similar technologies, described in Section 6.

Limited inferences drawn from the above, used to detect fraud and to decide what to show you.

A note on sensitive information. We do not ask for it and we do not want it. But a photograph can reveal things a form never would — somebody's race or ethnicity, a religious ceremony, a hospital room, a person who has died. We treat that as an unavoidable consequence of restoring photographs rather than as data to be mined, and where the law requires consent for it we ask you for that consent separately when you upload, not by burying it in these terms.

3. Where it comes from

From you, when you order, upload, post, write or call.

From your device automatically, when you use the site.

From the companies that help us operate — our payment processor, our hosting and storage providers, our email provider and our analytics provider.

From postal carriers, about deliveries to and from you.

From referral and advertising links, which tell us which campaign brought you here.

4. How we use it

To restore your photographs and fulfil your order, including producing and shipping prints.

To take payment, and to handle refunds.

To keep you informed — confirmations, questions from your restorer, your proof, delivery notices.

To provide support and to honor our satisfaction guarantee.

To operate, secure and improve our service. Improvement here means people looking at our own work and getting better at it. It never means training a model on your photographs. See Section 9.

To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.

To comply with our legal and tax obligations.

To send you marketing, only if you asked for it.

5. Legal bases, where European law applies

Where the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the Swiss FADP applies to you, we rely on the following bases.

  • Performance of a contract — restoring your photographs and delivering your order.
  • Consent — marketing, non-essential cookies, any use of your photographs in our own promotion, and the special-category information a photograph may reveal. Consent is asked for separately and can be withdrawn at any time.
  • Legitimate interests — securing our systems, preventing fraud, and understanding how our site is used, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation — tax, accounting and responding to lawful requests.

Where a photograph reveals special-category information, we rely on your explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a), captured as an unbundled opt-in at the point of upload rather than rolled into acceptance of these terms.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use four kinds:

  • Strictly necessary — signing in, keeping your order together, security. These cannot be switched off.
  • Functional — remembering your preferences, such as light or dark mode.
  • Analytics — how many people reach each step of an order, and where they give up.
  • Advertising — measuring which campaigns bring customers, and showing relevant ads.

You control everything except the strictly necessary ones, through our cookie banner and through your browser settings.

We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out request and act on it automatically, without asking you to fill anything in.

7. Selling, sharing and targeted advertising

We have never sold anybody's personal information for money and we do not intend to.

Some privacy laws define sale and share broadly enough to cover advertising cookies that pass information to an ad platform. Rather than argue about the definition, we treat our advertising cookies as a sale and a share, and we let you opt out of them.

We do not sell or share your photographs. Not for money, not for advertising, not under any definition, ever. There is no version of our business where your grandmother's portrait is an asset we trade.

To opt out, use the Do Not Sell or Share link in our footer, send a Global Privacy Control signal, or write to support@revivemyphoto.com. We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a worse restoration because you opted out.

8. When we disclose information

To the companies that operate parts of our service on our behalf — payment processing, hosting and file storage, email delivery, print production and analytics. They act on our instructions, are bound by confidentiality, and may not use what they receive for their own purposes.

To postal carriers, to deliver prints and return your originals.

To our professional advisers — lawyers, accountants, auditors and insurers — where they need it.

To law enforcement or a court, where we are legally required to. We interpret such requests narrowly and, unless we are legally prohibited, we tell you.

In a business transfer — a merger, acquisition or sale of assets — the acquirer takes on this policy's obligations. If a change of control would materially change how your information is handled, we tell you in advance and give you the chance to have your photographs deleted first.

We describe our providers by category rather than naming each one, because that list changes and a stale list is worse than an honest description. If you want to know who currently processes a particular kind of information, ask us at support@revivemyphoto.com and we will tell you.

9. Your photographs: how we handle them

This is the part that matters most, so it is written plainly and it is a list of commitments rather than a description of practices.

  • We use your photographs only to restore them for you, to communicate with you about the work, and for our own quality review by the people doing that work.
  • We never use them to train, develop or fine-tune any artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model — not ours, not anybody else's.
  • Your restoration is the work of a person who is responsible for it from start to finish.
  • Access is limited to the personnel who need it to do or check the work, and they are bound by confidentiality.
  • Files are encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • We delete or de-identify your images within ninety (90) days of delivery, or of the close of your revision and guarantee window, whichever is later. Sooner if you ask.
  • We never sell or share them, as Section 7 says.
  • We identify nobody in your photographs — no facial recognition, no faceprints, no templates.
  • The people shown in your photographs are processed only to restore the image for you. We do not identify them or contact them, and we rely on your confirmation that the photograph is yours to send.
  • We strip geolocation metadata from images by default.
  • Using a restoration in our gallery or advertising requires your specific, separate, opt-in permission, given per photograph and revocable at any time.

You confirm, when you send us a photograph, that it is yours to send.

10. Original photographs you post to us

When you post an original to us we hold it as a bailee — it stays yours, and we look after it with reasonable care.

Getting it to us is at your risk, so please use a tracked service and keep a copy of the image before you send it.

For loss or damage while your original is in our care, our liability is limited to $150 per original or what you paid for the order, whichever is greater — included at no charge — or to the higher amount you declared if you bought declared-value handling. These limits do not apply to gross negligence, recklessness or willful misconduct. See Section 4 of our Terms and Section 4.2 of our Refund Policy.

We cannot insure sentimental value, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. Please send a scan or a copy where you possibly can.

We post your originals back to you as part of the physical handling and return fee. If a return cannot be delivered, we hold the photographs for at least ninety (90) days and make up to three documented attempts to reach you before doing anything else.

11. People in your photographs

A photograph you send us usually shows other people, and often people who cannot be asked — because the picture is eighty years old, or because they have died.

We process their images for one purpose only: restoring the photograph for you. We then delete the files on the schedule in Section 12. We do not attempt to identify anybody, we build no biometric templates, and we never try to contact a person because they appeared in an image.

You confirm that you have the authority to send us the photograph and any permission needed from the people it identifies.

Where European law applies, our basis for handling their images is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) in delivering the restoration you asked for, together with your explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a) where the image reveals special-category information. This policy is how we provide the transparency Article 14 requires for people whose information we did not obtain from them directly.

12. How long we keep things

WhatHow longWhy
Your uploaded and restored images90 days after delivery or the close of the guarantee windowLong enough to re-send or revise; not a day longer
Order and transaction recordsUp to 7 yearsTax, accounting and legal obligations
Support conversations24 months after resolutionContext if you come back to us
Marketing preferences and opt-outsIndefinitelySo we can keep honoring a choice you made
Cookie and analytics dataUp to 24 monthsMeasuring how the site performs

An order record kept for tax purposes is what you bought and what you paid. It is not your photographs — those go on the schedule above regardless of how long the receipt survives.

When we no longer need something, we delete it or de-identify it so that it can no longer be linked to you.

13. Security, and what happens if something goes wrong

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards: access controls and logging, encryption of files in transit and at rest, and careful physical handling of originals.

No system is perfectly secure and we will not claim otherwise.

If a breach affects your personal information we notify you and the relevant regulators as required by applicable state breach-notification law and, where it applies, the GDPR and UK GDPR. If your photographs were involved we will tell you that specifically and plainly.

14. Where your information is processed

We are a United States company, and your information is stored on servers in the United States.

Where information is transferred from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, with the UK Addendum where relevant, together with supplementary measures. Ask us at support@revivemyphoto.com for a copy of the safeguards.

15. Children

Our service is for adults. You confirm you are 18 or older when you order, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, write to support@revivemyphoto.com and we will delete it.

We do not sell or share the personal information of anybody under 16 without opt-in consent.

Old photographs very often show children, and that is entirely normal. Those images are protected exactly as every other image is, under Section 9. Where a restoration showing an identifiable child would be used in our own marketing, we require verified parental or guardian consent — the ordinary opt-in is not enough.

16. Automated decisions

We make no decisions about you by automated means that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Your restoration is not an automated decision — a person is responsible for the work and reviews what you receive.

We do use automated tools for security, fraud screening and analytics. Where one of those flags an order, a person looks at it before anything happens.

17. Your rights, and how to use them

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold about you and get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to receive it in a portable form, to opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising, to limit our use of sensitive information, to withdraw consent, and not to be treated worse for exercising any of these.

How to ask. Email support@revivemyphoto.com with Privacy Request in the subject, or write to Push Pull Studios LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801. You do not need an account or an order number — if you cannot find one, tell us what you can and we will work with you.

How we check it is you. We verify identity before acting, and we verify more carefully before giving out or deleting images, because the harm of handing somebody's family photographs to the wrong person is not recoverable. For an image request we ask for an additional matching detail and, where appropriate, a signed declaration. An authorized agent may act for you with written permission.

How long we take. We acknowledge within ten (10) business days and respond substantively within forty-five (45) days, extendable once by a further forty-five where the request is complex — we will tell you if that happens. Opt-out requests are actioned within fifteen (15) days. Under the GDPR and UK GDPR we respond within one month, extendable by two.

If we say no. We tell you why, and where the law provides an appeal you may appeal to us at the same address. You may also complain to your state Attorney General or, in Europe, to your supervisory authority.

We do not charge for any of this, unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

18. Regional supplements

18.1 California

Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, we have collected the following categories in the past twelve months: identifiers; customer records; commercial information; internet and network activity; approximate geolocation; audio, electronic and visual information — your photographs; financial information limited to payment confirmation; sensitive personal information only where a photograph incidentally reveals it; and inferences.

The sources, business purposes and categories of recipients are those described in Sections 3, 4 and 8.

We have not sold personal information for money. We treat advertising cookies as a sale and a share and you may opt out. We have never sold or shared photographs, and we never will.

We use sensitive personal information only to provide the service you asked for, which does not require the right to limit under § 1798.121 — but we honor a limitation request anyway if you make one.

Your rights: to know and access, free of charge twice in any twelve-month period; to correct; to delete; to opt out of sale and sharing; to limit the use of sensitive information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Use the methods in Section 17.

Shine the Light. We disclose no personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.

18.2 Other United States privacy laws

Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have rights to confirm and access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, and opt out of targeted advertising, sale, and profiling with legal or similarly significant effects.

We do not sell personal information for money. Sensitive data — which for us means what a photograph may incidentally reveal — is processed on the basis of the opt-in consent asked for at upload.

We honor Global Privacy Control without friction and without asking you to complete anything further. Where your state gives you a right of appeal against our decision, Section 17 explains how.

18.3 European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland

We are not established in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland and we do not target those markets. Where the GDPR, UK GDPR or Swiss FADP nevertheless applies, Push Pull Studios LLC is the controller.

Our legal bases are in Section 5, retention in Section 12, and transfer safeguards in Section 14.

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection — including an unconditional right to object to direct marketing — and the right not to be subject to a solely automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects, which as Section 16 explains does not arise here.

Where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.

We respond within one month, extendable by two for complex requests. You may complain to your supervisory authority, and in the UK to the Information Commissioner's Office.

18.4 Canada

For residents of Canada we handle personal information in accordance with PIPEDA and applicable provincial legislation.

We collect with your knowledge and consent, express or implied according to the sensitivity of the information, and use it only for the purposes described here. You may request access to your information, ask for corrections, and withdraw consent subject to legal and contractual limits.

Requests go to support@revivemyphoto.com or Push Pull Studios LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801.

18.5 Washington and Nevada consumer health data

We are not a health service and we do not knowingly collect consumer health data as My Health My Data or Nevada SB 370 define it.

A photograph can incidentally show a hospital room, a wheelchair or a person who is visibly unwell. We use that image to restore it and for nothing else. We do not infer, record, derive or market anybody's health status from a photograph, and we do not sell or share such images.

18.6 Nevada — opt out of sale

We do not sell personal information as Nevada SB 220 defines a sale, meaning an exchange for money for a third party to license or resell.

Nevada residents may still submit an opt-out request to support@revivemyphoto.com with Nevada Opt-Out in the subject line.

19. Other companies' sites

Our site links to and integrates with services we do not control. This policy does not cover them, and their own policies apply. We suggest reading them before handing anything over.

20. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we post the new version here and update the date at the top.

For a change that materially affects your rights, and in particular any change to how we handle photographs we are already holding, we notify you in advance by email or by a prominent notice on the site. Where the law requires consent for the new use, we ask you afresh. We never treat your continued use of the site as agreement to a new use of photographs you already sent us.

21. Governing law

This policy is governed by the law of the State of Wyoming, except where the mandatory law of the place you live applies instead — in which case it does, and nothing here waives a data-protection right you hold.

Disputes are handled as set out in Section 15 of our Terms of Service, including the arbitration agreement and the class-action waiver, and the thirty-day opt-out from both.

22. How to reach us
